We also would like to let you know some important information about Kingfisher.
1. We will be having a sale Dec. 13-20 of 15 percent off all new items and 10 percent off used items with a few exceptions on publishers who do not like us to discount. Damaged or discontinued curriculum will be 20 to 75 percent off. Also, bring a new homeschool friend who has not been to Kingfisher and both of you receive a coupon for 20 percent off one item in January no exclusions.
2. We will have modified holiday hours (Closed Dec 21-29, Dec 30-31 open 11-3, closed Jan. 1. Normal hours resume Jan. 2.)
3. In light of this economy, we have been prayerfully considering some different options and I just have a couple of questions that will help us determine what the best is for our customer and the future of Kingfisher. A. Is there something we could do better to insure either your business or more of your business?
B. In the future would you consider joining a club that would insure discounts on both new and used and other benefits? The purchase price might be approximately 10 to 20 dollars for the year.
(Other possible benefits: discount on testing, more flexibility in reselling used, possibly purchase of your used by Kingfisher, special days of babysitting while you shop or storytelling, free coffee, and use of class room for meetings)
C. How would you feel about the business moving 10 minutes from the I-205 Bridge in Vancouver Washington?
D. At this point it looks like we will have to make some drastic changes, possibly even liquidation and closure, within a couple of months or sooner. We will update our status through www.kingfishercurriculum.com – thank you so much for your time.
