Adam Wilde
Dear parents and students,
My name is Adam Wilde, and I find it apt to tell all of you about myself, considering I will be teaching for you. I was born twenty years ago in Tucson, Arizona, where I was raised by a loving mother and father, the latter a pastor at a Baptist church. Sometimes a pastor's child is stereotyped as rebellious and having feelings of neglect and stifled opportunities. My father, however, was not only a great pastor, but just as good a dad, and thanks to God, immature attitudes did not take root in my heart.
At seven years old, my father was called to leave Arizona. He found another church in Vancouver, Washington, called Laurelwood Baptist, where he has been pastor to this day. I became active in the youth ministry of Laurelwood three years ago and have enjoyed reaching youth for Christ since then.
I will have my Associate of Arts certificate from Clark College after this fall quarter. In the near future I plan to get a teaching degree from WSU Vancouver and taking some college Bible classes.
I love God because He first loved me. With my actions I seek to show Him my love and appreciation for salvation. My joy is in the salvation God has given me, and I strive to not let circumstances dictate my heart.
Reading and writing are my favorite hobbies besides hanging out with my best friends. If I had to choose between an easy and a hard thing, I would choose the hard thing. I would rather pray with my friends than play Candyland :-) with them, and my day always goes worse when I don't read the Bible. I look forward to teaching Math, Science, and English for you, and I hope we all can have a good time.
Your servant in Christ,
Adam Wilde
