Worldviews Course Class Time: Wed. 11:00am-12:00pm

Start date: October 7th, 2009   End Date: May 6th, 2010 (excluding normal holiday breaks)

Instructors: Brad Riegg, MA Political Theology, BA Combined Economics, Political Science and Spanish, and Chris Riegg, Worldview Academy student for two years and Worldview Course completion through Kingfisher's Curriculum.

This course will be very interactive, with students both creating their own written and audio/visual materials and presenting them to the class for open discussion and debate. Student will also create and share their personal testimony. Time will also be spent reading excerpts from original source materials, such as The Bible, first and foremost, The Communist Manifesto, The Origin of Species, The Humanist Manifesto, The Declaration of Independence, Out on a Limb, The Q'uran, The Bagva-Gita, John Locke's works, The Wealth of Nations, Mere Christianity, etc. Analysis will be given as well to the multi-media, including Disney, and other popular movies. The Starting Points Curriculum will be referenced as a guideline for the course.

The teachers will be learning along with the students in the course, so come prepared to defend your own view of life and reality, and to identify and present other views.
